Miss B ODell

Miss O'Dell of Clarendon Rd, Luton, is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

Soon after the outbreak of hostilities, this lady volunteered for work of National Importance and proceeded to Messrs Kent's Ltd, Luton where she was engaged on the output of munitions. Her service extended to the cessation of hostilities and she did work of a very valuable nature giving complete satisfaction to her employers.

Miss M McVey

Miss McVey of Dallow Rd, Luton, is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

During the war for a period of eighteen months, this lady was engaged on important work at Messrs George Kent's factory, Luton. Her duties, which were in connection with the gauging of fuses, were carried out with great care and skill and she received high commendation for the services she rendered.

Miss L Clark

Miss Clark of Collingdon St, Luton, is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

This lady was engaged for two years during the war at the Chaul End Filling Factory where she did most important work. Afterwards she went to Messrs Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton and for a further period of nearly a year was engaged on shell-work which she carried out in a highly satisfactory manner.

Miss N F Claridge

Miss Claridge of Luton, is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

During the war this lady was engaged on work of National Importance at Messrs Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton . She was employed on drilling work and carried out her duties with great skill.

Miss M Carr

Miss Carr of Summer St, Luton, is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

This lady was engaged at Messrs Kent's Munitions Factory, Biscot Rd, Luton for one year. Her duties which were of an important nature were carried out in an efficient manner and she rendered valuable services.

Miss L M Buckingham

Miss Buckingham of Toddington is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

This lady was engaged on work of National Importance at Messrs Kent's Factory, Luton, for a period of three and a half years. Her duties, which were in connection with fuse-making were carried out with great efficiency and were much appreciated.

Miss L C Brown

Miss L Brown of Elizabeth St, Luton, is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

This lady was engaged at Messrs Kent's Factory, Luton in the capstan, lathe and tool-setting departments. Her duties which were of a responsible nature were carried out with great care and efficiency and she rendered valuable services during the war.

Miss K Brightman

Miss K Brightman of Barton, is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

From 1916 until 1918 this lady was engaged in work of National Importance as a Woolwich Inspector in Messrs Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton. She carried out her responsible duties with great efficiency and rendered valuable services throughout.

Miss V Billington

Miss V Billington of Upper Sundon is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker at Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton.

For more than three years during the war this lady rendered services of a valuable nature at Messrs Kent's Munitions Works, Luton. Her duties of lacquering fuses were carried out in an efficient manner and she received high commendation for her work.

Miss O Billington

Miss O Billington of Upper Sundon, is listed in the National Roll of the Great War as a Special War Worker who worked at George Kent's Munitions factory.

From March 1915 to November 1918 this lady was engaged on important capstan work at Messrs Kent's Munitions Factory, Luton. Throughout her period of service she discharged her responsible duties with great efficiency.

Miss A Billington

Miss A Billington of Upper Sundon  is listed in the National Roll of the Great War (Section V) as a Special War Worker who worked for the Kent's Munitions factory.

From June 1916 to November 1917 this lady was engaged on work of  National Importance at Messrs Kent's Munition Factory, Luton. She was chiefly employed on fuse-filling, and carried out her dangerous duties with care and skill.

Miss May Emma Constable

May Constable was born in Fenny Stratford in 1896 and during WWI  was one of the many female workers, known as munitionettes, who worked in George Kent's fuse-filling factory at Chaul End. She died on 7 March 1918 from burns caused by an explosion at the factory. She is named on the George Kent Roll of Honour along with 3 other women and 6 men as "lives lost through explosions in the manufacture of armaments".
