Dear Mother,

                        Just a few lines hoping to find you quite well as it leaves me the same at present. I received those 3 parcels what you sent me in Palestine, but my address is Pte. PW Coleman 33859: 14 Platoon D coy, 1/5 Highland L Inf. B.E.F. France. Note Address.

I was sorry t hear about Dad being in hospital, I will send a letter to him as soon as I know his address. I see one of Arthurs mates in Egypt some time ago, and he told me about Joe going a missing. I shall have to close now, write as soon as you can.
